The Friendess BCL-AMP professional signal preamplifier module (often referred to as the autofocus system’s amplification head) is a key actuator in systems for automatically controlling the distance between the nozzle and the cut surface. The device converts microscopic changes in electrical capacitance, detected by the nozzle and a ceramic element, into a stable high-frequency signal transmitted directly to the height controller (e.g., BCS100).
The module’s housing is made of a robust aluminum alloy, which provides excellent shielding against strong electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated in the operating area of high-power fiber lasers. The device is equipped with a standard, precision SMA coaxial connector for connecting the sensor cable. The BCL-AMP module is characterized by exceptional thermal stability and vibration resistance, which directly improves the repeatability of the cutting process and prevents collisions between the cutting head and the material. It is fully compatible with most factory-made CNC laser cutters equipped with CypCut control systems (including cutting heads from Raytools, WSX, Bodor, and Gweike).
